I combine 10+ years of hands-on experience in fresh food production and quality assurance with practical digital systems development. The tools I build are designed by someone who works in the industry — not just in software.
My career spans two interconnected areas that most professionals keep separate. I bring both to every role and every project.
Over 7 years in dairy manufacturing QA and microbiology at Gloria S.A. (Peru's market leader), followed by supervisory experience at a commercial hydroponic growing facility in Victoria. Deep knowledge of HACCP compliance, GMP, non-conformance management, environmental monitoring, internal audits, and traceability systems. I know what food safety looks like on the floor.
Self-developed expertise in building production management systems using Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, and HTML. All systems are live and in daily use in real commercial operations. Specialising in workflow automation, digital transformation of manual processes, and tools that people with no technical background can use from day one.
Every project listed here is live, in active daily use in a commercial operation, and built entirely without third-party software licences. (The largest system I've built — a full production platform for a Werribee South nursery — is featured on the QualityTrace home page.)
Digitised the full order intake workflow. The system reads client purchase order PDFs automatically, extracts PO numbers, delivery dates, SKUs and quantities, and writes them directly into the weekly planning board. Detects duplicates, calculates packed-on and best-before dates, and logs every import. Includes a change register interface with reason tracking, and a monthly commitment vs. fulfilment dashboard.
Digital sowing register that goes beyond simple logging. Organises records by variety and line, shows current available stock per product, and generates a visual production map showing what is growing in each system and line. Supports sowing decisions by showing adjacent crops and available positions across the entire growing floor.
Daily tracking of fertiliser consumption per growing system. Records usage volumes, acid refills, EC and pH monitoring, and probe calibrations. Enables deviation detection correlated with environmental variables such as temperature, rainfall, and time of reading. Complemented by digital formats for machinery checks and incident recording.
Full digital time-keeping system built on Google Forms and Google Sheets. Workers log in and out via published web forms with PIN authentication. The system automatically calculates raw hours, deducts breaks, and generates a weekly summary filterable by worker and date range. Includes manual record support, employee register, SOPs, and payroll preparation output. 779+ entries recorded to date.

Supervise daily operations in a commercial fresh food hydroponic production environment. Responsible for food safety compliance, quality standards, staff training, and traceability. Simultaneously designed and built five digital systems currently in active use across the operation.
6 years 9 months at Peru's leading dairy manufacturer. Progressed from laboratory microbiology analyst to quality inspector with direct presence on the production floor. Broad expertise across microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, and quality verification.
